PLAY IT COOL: Industry Sponsored Brand Identity System
The Philadelphia Department of Public Health was in search of creative ways to inform the citizens of Philadelphia about the dangers of heat-related injuries and illnesses. I worked with a team to create Play It Cool, a campaign that hosts informative events targeting children and their caretakers in the North Philadelphia area. Through our research, we discovered that children are one of the most vulnerable populations during the hot summer time. We designed a playful and informational branding system that resonated with both the children and their caretakers. We provided them with the necessary resources, while giving them fun ways to learn about how to beat the heat. While presenting our final solution to the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, Play it Cool was voted the most successful proposal out of nine teams.
